The Velvet Abode
Jade Travertine · Turkey

Jade Travertine · Turkey

Buried deep beneath the geological layers of Turkey,
Nature took millions of years
To slowly paint this map of glimmering light.

It possesses no rough pores,
Only soft grey veins that overlap and stretch like an ink wash painting.
These are the traces of time's passage,
And in the eyes of collectors,
An extraordinary, serendipitous miracle of creation.

The mineral veins are extremely scarce and difficult to extract.
Historically, it was reserved only for royal palaces and sacred temples.
In the contemporary era, it appears only in a select few luxury spaces,
As the ultimate collector's statement of taste.

With deep reverence for nature's creations,
We carve this irreplaceable treasure into a lamp.

As light pierces through its texture,
The once cold stone,
Radiates a delicate, gentle warmth.

It is as if nature has gently lent you millions of years of serenity,
For this very moment.

KISMET
Before the cage door, in a corner of the pet shop—
Your eyes met.
A singular aura drifts through the air.
Just 0.3 seconds—yet it rewrote thousands of days and nights for you both.

Since then, you’ve often wondered:
What if you had been ten minutes late that day?
When you push open the door,
would you now be greeted only by silence?

Some encounters wear the guise of chance,
yet within, they are embroidered with the texture of destiny.
“You didn’t simply find them.
Your scents had already recognized each other,
at the crossroads of time—
fulfilling a vow signed long ago by your souls.”

—

MOMENT
Their lives never speak of "someday."
Every gaze feels like a final confession.
Now you’ve learned—
to find ritual in spilled water bowls,
to understand dependence in a scratched sofa.
And the midnight zoomies,
accompanied by the soft scent drifting in the air,
compose a lullaby written only for you both.

In the time that remains for holding each other close,
You set aside the flickering screen
letting this delicate fragrance preserve:
the moment sunlight pierces through translucent ears,
the damp warmth of a nose pressed against your palm.

"Every shared breath with your pet is a moment stolen back from time—a gift for eternity."

—

VELVET PROMISE
That night, you returned home under the faint light of the early dawn.
Curled on the entryway mat, nodding off on the brink of sleep.
yet still clutching your slipper tightly— as if guarding a crown.

You suddenly realize-
the deepest vows need no words..
They exist in the form of a life, willing to trade its own sleep,
just to keep a light burning for your return.

Now, in every shared dawn and dusk,
in every breath filled with this familiar, warm fragrance,
the same secret is being whispered:
“This very moment we are living—
this is eternity at its finest."

Let this lingering scent weave itself into the fabric of time.
From then on-
every time you step out,
you are already practicing the promise of return.
Every breath you take
Whispers the Velvet Promise.
“I am always here.”

—

FUTURE
We all know—one day
Morning light will dust their paws with frost,
That sofa it once leaped upon with ease,
Will become a harbor your arms must ready to receive.

Yet they will still rest their forehead softly against your palm,
As stubbornly as that first encounter,
Silently echoing a constant vow.

And so, in every today,
you bury gentle foreshadowings,
letting this familiar scent become time’s witness.
You are not waiting for goodbye.
we are practicing eternity in every embrace.
In every decade yet to come,
you carry on telling the story you are living,

When the rhythm of play grows calm,
when liveliness settles intomutual understanding,
this lingering fragrance will softly remind:
Along the marks carved by time’s flow,
for you have already become each other’s eternal beacon.

SANCTUM
On this day, the silence in the air feels painfully heavy.
The dip in the blanket still holds the fading warmth of their body.

For the first time, you realize that silence, too, carries a weight.
Some say they’ve gone to a distant heaven.
But you know in your heart—they never truly left the air you breathe.

When you push open the front door, there is no longer a bounding shadow at the entryway.
Yet in the air, a familiar, warm,
And velvety scent softly rises, gently wrapping around you.

It turns out, they truly kept their word.

They have chosen to live on in another form—
In the wind, in the sunlight, and in your every breath.
Living in those moments when you reach out by habit, only to touch a soft memory.
Living in that suddenly remembered morning of 《MOMENT》, when they knocked over a water glass with a soft smile.
Living in every promised decade of 《FUTURE》 that they once walked beside you.
Living in the deep night of (VELVET PROMISE, when they guarded the starlight and waited until you fell asleep.
Living in that 0.3-second gaze of (KISMET» by the cage door, the fate-rewriting moment where it all began.

So you see, parting is not vanishing; it is finding a 《SANCTUM》.
They have simply taken a step ahead, quietly distilling all the sunshine you shared,
The nights you waited through, and that silent companionship into the very scent of home you breathe right now.

Thus, every time you push open the door, you have arrived at your 《SANCTUM》.
In every breath you take, you can hear it.
The only vow it ever makes, with its entire life.
"This is the beginning, and this is the end. Welcome home, I will be here forever."
